This Riesling shows the steely, lime and grapefruit flavours typical of this varierty when grown in a cool climate. An austere style has been produced which can be enjoyced with any seafood or Asian food. It has the ability to age and develop giving it marvellous mouth fill and aromatics such as our Rieslings have shown in the past.
Cargo Road Vineyard Established 1983 at 860 metres on the sheltered northern slopes of Mount Canobolas near Orange NSW. The vineyard is planted on deep red basalt soils allowing it to be unirrigated. Cargo Road Wines are all estate grown. We have believed in sustainability since 1983 and took this further with the introduction of Holistic Management in 2013 taking a regenerative approach to Viticulture and Agriculture, as we only custodians of the land.

2013 Riesling won a gold medal at the Canberra International Riesling Challenge & a trophy at the Orange Region Wine Show 2013. We believe the 2014 Riesling is just as good as 2013, grab a box and you be the judge.
