2022 Lagrein

Lagrein is grown in the Region of Trentino-Alto Adige in the northeast of Italy, and dates back to the 16th century. I came across Lagrein in 2015 and fell in love with it. I knew that it would be well suited to Cargo Road Wines in Orange, NSW. The wine has the deepest darkest colour I have ever senn in a red. It will stain your glass! The Awe-inspiring mouth feel with strong dry tannins, dark black cherry and dark chocolate flavours fill the mouth. This wine will pair with robust hard cheeses, game meats and rich dishes.
